Had a really great experience at The Sterling in the Gherkin! The highlight of the visit was the lovely American waitress who served us - she was genuinely friendly, super helpful, and really knew her cocktails. I asked for a Cuba Libre, which surprisingly not many people know how to make properly, but she nailed it quickly and served it with a big smile. Yes, the prices are slightly higher compared to some of the nearby pubs, but honestly, the quality of service made it well worth it. She also took the time to recommend a few food items when I asked, which I really appreciated - will definitely be coming back to try them for lunch! Overall, the service was warm and welcoming, which made the experience stand out in an area packed with more generic pubs. Looking forward to returning soon!
I was greeted and shown to my reserved area which was spacious and nice. The service from all of the staff was great, courteous and smiley with quick service when needed to get a large drinks order. We didn't have food so can't comment really but maybe next time when having lunch.
I had some delicious cocktails and was served by carol who was lovely and provided excellent customer service. Definitely recommend to others particularly because of the attentive staff and wonderful atmosphere
